This property in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur is over 75 years old, hence redesigning some of the key areas of the house like the formal drawing room and a huge dusty old storage space was a challenge! Not one we shied away from. The house required some structural changes to enhance a few areas, we also restored the false ceiling of the drawing room to its original high ceiling format. The furniture and light fixtures for the space were all manufactured in our workshop. The sofa in the bar was sourced all the way from Italy. The storage space was given the new purpose of an in-house home theatre. For the theatre, we created a mural that adorned the entire back wall and acted as acoustic panelling! Some of the outdoor features we designed for the house include a gazebo with LED lighting, and a Buddha wall art. This project is very close to our hearts and definitely a feather in our cap.
